The Cleaver Board | Engraved Goncalo Alves Charcuterie & Serving Board

Part butcher shop, part art piece. This cleaver-shaped serving board is cut from solid Goncalo Alves, a Brazilian hardwood prized for its dramatic tiger-stripe grain and natural durability. Each board features a hand-picked filigree engraving that flows from the sculpted handle onto the blade, giving it the look of an heirloom tool passed down through generations.

Goncalo Alves is naturally dense and water resistant, making it ideal for daily kitchen use. Lay out a charcuterie spread, serve bread and cheese at your next gathering, or put it to work as a cutting surface. It's 100% food safe and built to handle all three. A juice groove along the blade edge catches crumbs and drips, and the contoured handle includes a hanging hole so the board can live on display between uses.

Because the grain of Goncalo Alves varies dramatically from board to board, no two pieces are alike. The bold striping in your board will be entirely its own, a one-of-a-kind piece you won't see in anyone else's kitchen.

Every board is designed and crafted in Jacksonville, Florida by Hammond Handcrafted, a small family business carrying on three generations of woodworking tradition. Made from sustainably sourced lumber and finished with food-safe oil and wax.

Details
